Dear Students. Class 10 Boards are over. So now what…

Eat the Elephant. One bite at a time.

You may say, “Why on earth do I eat an Elephant?” Ah, well there is something called a metaphor. Got it.

Going by the Greek word Mono, you may say my Elephant is my one big Monolithic scenario. OK, then how to eat it? Break it down.

Boards are winding up by April ‘25. Will you still have 365 days for the next exam? Maybe not. So cut the Elephant into pieces.

You are in the starting lineup. Invest at least 1 hour (1HR-Strategy) every day in your study corner. Straightaway you have 365 hours of focused study. Firstly, you have done a wonderful thing, created a compounding effect. Secondly, it beats procrastination and helps to lower stress levels (if any) because of your early and steady preparation. And that’s not all, it boosts your performance by up to 25%.

What’s next- Now by just doing this 1HR-S, you have enhanced your Retention. Because such spaced retention over the year of study is better than intensive short-term study. It also gives you Time to systematically identify (without a haphazard rush) your area which needs more attention and guidance.

It also creates a buffer zone. For any unexpected turn of events, you can re-plan your schedule and make up for any loss. Working for you as a Shock Absorber.

Well by now you should be saying to yourself, “Yat Bhavo Tat Bhavati”, as you think so you become. Yes, you have boosted your self-confidence and psychologically you are ready for high-stakes exams like JEE Main & NEET. You surely can say- “I am Confident”. Bravo!

Now to sum up your 1HR-S achievements, made Class 11 the foundation for your Class 12, with multiple revision opportunities, Balancing School Academics, Co-Curricular activities Extracurricular activities along with competitive exams.

And to make it happen, I know you are tech-savvy Gen Z, but it will be great if you take a pen and a notebook and jot down the plan, draw a picture that makes you smile just looking at it, and then take 2/3 photocopy of it. Paste it where you usually spend most of your time. Starting with… I leave it to you.

Happy Learning.
