Sounds like ‘How to get Pizza delivered in 30 mins.’ Anyway.

As the examination date nears,
Emotion gathers, like tensions and fears!
The daily routine is all about NEET,
Ya! This moment, life is just a Skit!
And mind full of ‘If’, ‘If, and ‘If’,
Still, wore the Wingsuit & stepped to the cliff!
Ready, steady, to jump-off, on the 4th of May,
And the rest of life, (to-be) happy and gay…

Well then, posting it on 4th Apr., just 29 days to GO! So, not to take much of your time. Balanced and focused routine vis-à-vis counting your hours of study. What do you choose?

Focus, what is that? It’s like a laser beam. Concentrated, it is powerful, but if scattered, it loses its strength and effect. Likewise, YOU need to concentrate and to do that, first, switch off your phone and dump it somewhere in the attic (believe me, the world will not notice). Mind fully Engaged to study. Distraction, like what will happen, this thought will visit you from time to time. Hold it by the horns and dump it. You can do it with deep breathing. It’s the most easiest way to counter.

Close unwanted tabs if you are studying Online.

Also, another set of distractions. While studying Biology, you think about Chemistry and Physics. For that, you may try out the 5-second rule. Count backward, 5-4-3-2-1, and start again. If 5 seconds does not work, stretch it a little more.

You will know how long or what stretch your Brain can absorb at one go. It may be from 45 mins to 2 hrs. Depending on your stretch, take a break whenever it is applicable. Keep repeating the cycle.

As you go, hopefully your brain will adapt to the cycle.

Focus is not about you being perfect. But more about controlling your mind and training it so that it does not act like a lost sheep.

One hour of focused study is any day better than three hours of gluteal region positioned on a chair. The timetable, for sure, should be pasted or hung where you can see it always. With the timetable, you then need to plot What to study, When to study, and How to study.

There is no hard and fast rule for which subject and which chapter to study when. You may jot down the topics subject-wise that need immediate attention (IA) as IA1, IA2, IA3, and so on. You may structure your study pattern like a sandwich. Start with Revision and Study, in midday, you do your MOCK or MCQs, or PYQs, and then lastly close it with revision, revisiting topics that scored less than expected, and any Q-card that you follow with a list of formulas, terminology, short definitions, etc.

Now, just 29 days to go, self-study is the essence of the time.

Revision is super important, and 1 test a day is a must. And, by now, it is a known fact that NCERT Books are the game-changer. Refer to it.

Well, all the very best. Remember, you are not competing with anyone, except YOU.

Hasta la vista!
